A fundraising event for Burnham-On-Sea’s three-day music and performing arts festival, BOSfest, is set to be held on Easter Sunday.
The event’s Easter Fundraiser will be held at Burnham’s Ritz Social Club on Sunday 20th April from 2pm.
Organiser Tanya Dyer told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have a brilliant and eclectic line up which reflects the main festival itself.”
“We will be welcoming bands Sapphire and Federal Black whose members are all local students from Bridgwater College.”
“Singer songwriter Chelsey Dee accompanied by Alex Pengelly will be delivering her own songs inspired by country and Americana with a few choice covers thrown in. The self explanatory Delta River Blues Band will also get you up and on your feet.”
“Local singer song writer Lee Smith will be performing a number of his fabulous self penned originals. Popular Ritz Acoustic Club player Si Cooke will also be there with his own twist on some fabulous classics and the wonderful vocalist and songwriter Bob Gallie will be performing – it’s always a privilege to him in the house.”
“Weston and Cheddar based duo Strum and Bass will also be joining us with a range of covers from the 60’s to the present day, and last but not least awesome Bristol based Hip Hop band The Caravan Collective will be rounding off what promises to be a fantastic day of music.”
“All these musicians will be very generously giving their time and their talents for the Easter Fundraiser so a huge shout out to them for making this event possible.”
“It will be a bargain £10 for all day entry on the door with all proceeds to the main BOSfest event at the end of August which is as always free for everyone to attend. Please come along – it would be great to see you there.”
“We’d also like to say thank you to everyone who has donated to our Go Fund me page so far we’ve received over £500 in donations which is fantastic and we are truly grateful as every penny counts and your support is needed now more than ever.”
