Burnham-On-Sea cyclists raise £3,000 for Prostate Cancer UK

-

A group of Burnham-On-Sea fundraising cyclists has raised thousands of pounds for charity by taking part in a 400 mile cycle ride.

The team – Scott Woodberry, Phil Gordon Jones, Tim Scarrott, Dom Hodges, Laura Hodges and Richard Tye and crew member Matthew Axe – took part in the event, successfully cycling 400 miles in four days from Holyhead to Huntspill, near Burnham.

They raised a huge £3,000 for Prostate Cancer UK, a charity that provides help and support to sufferers and families.

The team, from the Petal charity, would like to thank everyone who kindly donated to the cause.

Petal is run by the Woodberry family in memory of Christine Woodberry, who also died after a battle with cancer.
