Burnham group’s first Christmas panto proves a hit with audiences

-

A local drama group performed its first ever panto – Snow White and The Magnificent Seven – at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Saturday.

Curtain Call School of Performing Arts brought the funny, unique and quirky pantomime to life with a bit of a twist, giving it a cowboy theme!

Great fun was had by the cast and audience, who booed, hissed and cheered their way through the show!

“I’m very proud of the cast,” Principal Patricia Ham told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “It was a new challenge for them and they absolutely rose to the occasion!”

“Nobody wanted it to end, myself included! At least we all have Christmas to look forward to or else we’d be a bit flat – until the next show, that is!”

“I’d also like to thank our helpers and supporters again. We have had some wonderful parents helping with costumes, set design, hair, make-up and chaperoning – they were very generous with their time.”

She also thanked the show’s sponsor, Positive Wealth Creation.
