A Burnham-On-Sea firm is to hold a fundraising Cupcake Day in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Barrington & Sons at 60 The High Street is organising the event on Wednesday 12th June from 10am-2pm.
“As a firm we have become acutely aware of how this disease affects many families, in many ways. Family life is affected on a day to day basis but so too are dealings with organisations and their affairs for the future,” a spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We would like to show our understanding for the families and the charity. We have therefore decided to hold a cupcake day on 12th June at our office.”
“Please come in and see us for an informal chat and cupcake – all we ask is that a small donation is made for each cupcake. We are also currently running two competitions from our office which all can participate in for a donation of £2.”
“There will be prizes up for offer, one of them being a 25% discount voucher for a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney for up to two people. We hope to see you soon to help us support this worthy Charity.”
