Highbridge Cubs had a special visit from the town’s Mayor and Mayoress this week when they supported a photography workshop aimed at encouraging youngsters to take more pictures in the town.
Derick and Christine Cooper visited the HQ of First Huntspill and Highbridge Cubs in Coronation Road, as pictured, where the event organised by local group Somerset Film took place.
“The youngsters were shown how the basic functions of a camera works, such as focus, shutter release and playback. As practice, we then set up and took several photos of Highbridge to match the location of some taken many years ago – and we then compared the differences to show how the town has changed,” a spokesman for the group told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
