A three-car accident at a busy junction of the A38 in West Huntspill caused delays for motorists last night (Thursday).
Police and two ambulances were called to the junction of Withy Road and the A38 shortly before 6pm.
The busy route outside the Crossways Inn was temporarily closed by police, as pictured, while paramedics treated the casualties.
Police spokesman Inspector Dave Horwood told Burnham-On-Sea.com that several people had been treated for shock and minor injuries.
He added: “Fortunately no-one is believed to have been seriously hurt.”
The incident caused delays to commuter traffic during the rush hour.
