Holidaymakers at a holiday park in Brean got a shock this morning when this crocodile was spotted in the resort’s fishing lake.
Following several alarmed calls from tourists, staff were called to investigate at Holiday Resort Unity in Brean.
To the shock of the team, they could see the head of a crocodile in the lake.
The crocodile was eventually recovered and was found to be a very life-like replica, which had been taken from the neighbouring Brean Leisure Park’s Congo adventure crazy golf course overnight.
The crocodile has now been returned to its rightful home, although staff and holidaymakers alike got more than they bargained for!
The park’s owner Alan House told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were obviously very “shocked to receive calls about a crocodile spotted in our fishing lake.”
“It must have taken a great deal of effort to have pulled off this prank, which gave us, and some of our resort guests quite a shock (and a laugh) this morning.”
