A lady was air-lifted to hospital on Monday afternoon (April 22nd) after a two-car collision near Burnham-On-Sea.
Three fire crews from Burnham and Bridgwater rushed to the A39 at the junction with the B3141 at Woolavington shortly after 2.30pm.
“Crews found a road traffic collision involving two cars, with a female trapped inside one of the vehicles,” said a spokesman.
“Crews removed the roof of the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment and assisted paramedics in the removal of the casualty, who was transported to hospital via air ambulance.”
Two further casualties also received treatment by ambulance personnel.
