Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called out to help free a trapped motorist following a two-vehicle accident on Sunday (October 8th).
Burnham firefighters were called to Parchy, near Chedzoy on the outskirts of Bridgwater, at 7.45am.
“Two fire appliances attended – one from Bridgwater and one from Burnham-On-Sea – to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision,” confirmed a spokesman.
“On arrival the crews found one casualty was medically trapped.”
“Using small tools, the crews separated the vehicles, allowing access to the casualty for ambulance personnel.”
The occupant was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
