A motorist was taken to hospital after being cut free from his vehicle following a crash early this morning (Friday) near Burnham-On-Sea.
Two fire crews frrom Burnham and Weston were sent to the incident on the A370 at Lympsham shortly after 5.15am.
“On arrival crews discovered a collision involving one car with one person trapped. Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The casualty was then left in the hands of the ambulance service.”
