Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove Gardens will play host to an outdoor craft fair on Saturday (11th August).
The Friends of Marine Cove are organising the event at the seafront gardens from 11am – 3pm.
Around 20 stalls will be selling handmade jewellery, wooden craft, candles, semi-precious stones and crystals, fine seed-bead jewellery, glassware, sculptures, patchworks, cushions and toys, plus babyware, hats, scarves, alpaca fleece and products and shawls.
The Friends of Marine Cove will also be selling ‘Lily the Frogs’, the gardens’ mascot, available either to knit yourself or pre-knitted.
Jacqui Strong, Community Gardener, said: “Please support this event and the traders in your local town. Why not combine a visit to the gardens’ first craft fair with a walk round the town to see what other items you can find in one of Burnham’s many stores. We were delighted to receive the gardens’ first Green Flag award recently and want to encourage more and more visitors to enjoy this free community space.”
