A countryside fun day will be held in Brent Knoll today (Saturday, September 15th).
Organisers say the event promises fun for all the family from 2pm in the field behind the village’s post office.
The event will include a fun dog show, family fun races and games, brass band, kids art competition, flower and craft tent, a fun tug of war, and a treasure hunt.
There will also be pony and cart rides, a vehicle display, a pony club demonstration, welly throwing and displays of birds of prey and donkeys.
Entrance will be £4 by programme and children under 14 will be free. Programmes are available from the village post office, by calling 01278 760308, or on the gate on the day. Refreshments will be available alongside several stalls.
