Burnham-On-Sea’s brand new Costa Coffee cafe opened for business on Saturday (13th April).
Work to transform the former Sanders greengrocers shop in the High Street into the new modern cafe has been completed and the new store opened at 8am. It is open 7 days a week.
The store is run by Bristol-based Costa franchisee South West Coffee Ltd, which was given approval to open by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council and Sedgemoor District Council last year.
Opening hours of the new store are Mondays to Fridays: 7am-6pm; Saturdays: 8am-6pm; Sundays: 9am-5pm.
Sanders greengrocers shut its doors for the final time in 2011, as we reported here, and the property has been been vacant until Costa took it over.
