Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat charity receives £500 boost from concert

Over £500 has been raised for the RNLI during a fundraising concert in Burnham-On-Sea.

A total of £556 was raised for the RNLI which will be used to buy equipment for the nationwide lifeboats charity.

The concert, held in October at The Princess Theatre, saw several local acts performing.

One person donated a £50 cheque on top of his ticket charge, while the raffle alone raised £215 and the tickets £245.

GC Sound and Lighting was thanked for providing the stage PA equipment.

A spokesman thanked organiser Ieuan Cornish for holding the event.
