A community-spirited Burnham-On-Sea youngster created a simple tribute to the NHS on the town’s beach this week.
Poppy Wyles, 8, from St Andrew’s Junior School wanted to make her own special tribute to the hard-working staff.
So after Thursday’s weekly Clap for Carers, she made this design in the sand during the family’s daily exercise walk.
Father Ben told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Poppy decided to make this NHS sign in tribute as the night before she had been out clapping for the NHS and key workers.”
“She is very aware are of how important a role we are all playing during the Coronavirus outbreak, especially the people who have to keep working and the NHS themselves.”
“I’m really proud of her and what a good little heart she has.”
