A total of £1,646 was collected for local good causes during last Sunday night’s seafront fireworks display in Burnham-On-Sea.
A spectacular seafront fireworks display took place and Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club, the official collector at the event, said it was grateful to all those who dug deep to donate.
A club spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a good collection considering the poor weather – thanks go to all those who gave. This sum goes to the Rotary Club and local charities.”
“Thank you to all our collectors, The Army Cadet Force and Sea Cadets for their help in collecting and to BOS Hair for the use of their premises.”
