Police have praised the quick actions of residents near Burnham-On-Sea following the arrest of a unregistered door-to-door seller.
Police were called to East Huntspill this week after residents reported a teenager ‘cold calling’ at homes in the village.
Burnham Police’s Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A 19 year-old Polish man was arrested and taken to Bridgwater Police Station. He was cautioned for peddling without a license and suspected deception.”
“The arrest would not have been possible without the quick response of residents reporting the man to us.”
