Burnham-On-Sea Coastguards had a busy Saturday evening (June 2nd) after being called to two separate incidents.
In the first at 6.55pm, a jet skier got into difficulty when his machine suffered technical difficulties. A Burnham lifeboat was launched to bring the stricken skier back to the shore, as pictured here.
And later in the evening, Burnham Coastguards were called to Berrow beach after calls for help were heard from the direction of the mudflats.
“A thorough search was conducted and it was found that the shouts had been from two fishermen on the beach, who were not in difficulty. It was therefore put down as a false alarm with good intent,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
