Coastguards from Burnham-On-Sea were called out THREE times on Monday (August 22nd).
In the first incident at 4.15pm, Burnham Coastguards were called to Uphill amid concern for two children in difficulty on the beach.
“The parents had not seen their children for over an hour and were naturally concerned. Fortunately, after a brief search, the children were found safe and well,” Burnham Coastguard Dave Welland told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Then, as Coastguards were about to leave the beach, another 999 call came in to report a 10 year-old autistic boy was in difficulty. Coastguards from Weston and Burnham worked with the fire service to bring the youngster back to safety.
And at 9.50pm, Burnham Coastguards were called out for a third time when a person was reported to have gone missing on Brean beach. He was found safe and well.
