Paramedics treated a nine month old baby for cuts to her head and a leg after a two vehicle collision on Brean’s Coast Road during a busy afternoon for Burnham’s emergency services on Monday (September 29th).
Police and paramedics were called to Coast Road at 1.40pm after a camper van collided with a car.
Andrew Kirchen, spokesman for West Country Ambulance service, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A nine month old girl was treated for cuts to a leg and her head. She received treatment at the scene and was not taken to hospital.”
In a second, separate accident two cars collided on Berrow Road in Burnham-On-Sea. Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “One person suffered minor neck injuries after a two vehicle accident at 2.37pm.”
He added that Berrow Road had been briefly blocked and that police had diverted traffic around the scene.
