The date of this year’s annual Burnham and Highbridge civic service, when four residents will receive Civic Awards for their service to the community, has been announced.
The invitation-only service will be held in front of 200 people on Sunday, September 10th at 3pm in King Alfred’s School.
The High Sheriff of Somerset, Brigadier Alastair Fyfe, will hand over the awards at the service, which will be followed by a civic reception in the school’s refectory.
As revealed by Burnham-On-Sea.com in June, the awards will be presented to Fay Burston, Tony Deahl, Hector Heal and Mike Lang.
