Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council is inviting nominations for the towns’ annual Civic Awards.
The awards are given to local people who are deemed to have rendered outstanding service to the community and will be presented at the Annual Civic Service later this year.
Members of the public are invited to submit nominations in writing, by noon on Monday 16th May 2016 at the latest, to the council’s admin assistant, Mrs Lorna Brewer, at the Old Courthouse, Jaycroft Road, Burnham or by email at lorna@burnham-highbridge.org.
All nominations should include the full name and address of the nominee, and details of their involvement with community groups/the community in general.
Nominees who do not live in Burnham-On-Sea or Highbridge will not be considered.
The Town Council will consider nominations for Civic Awards for this year at their Town Projects Committee meeting on 25 May.
