Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council is inviting nominations for the towns’ annual Civic Awards until the end of this week.
The awards are handed to local people who are deemed to have rendered outstanding service to the community and will be presented at the Annual Civic Service later this year.
“These awards are given to people who have given exceptional service to the community or people who have been particularly helpful and caring,” said Town Clerk, Tatiana Cant.
Members of the public are invited to submit nominations in writing, as soon as possible but no later than noon on Friday 6th July 2018 to Mrs Lorna Brewer, Admin Officer, The Old Courthouse, Jaycroft Road in Burnham, TA8 1LE or 01278 788088 or e-mail to lorna@burnham-highbridge.org.
All nominations should include the full name and address of the nominee, and details of their involvement with community groups/the community in general.
