Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor was among the guests at the opening night of a circus in Brean this week.
Mayor Michael Clarke, Mayoress Maria Clarke and Sedgemoor District Council Chairman Jane Moreton were the VIP guests at the charity night for Zippos Circus at Warren Farm.
Circus spokesman Jan-Erik Venner told Burnham-On-Sea.com how it all unfolded: “It was great to have the Mayor, Mayoress and other dignitaries join us at the opening night. Everyone seemed to have a really enjoyable night.”
The circus is open to the public every night until August 22nd. Performances are held every day at 3pm and 6pm. The performances do not include any animals, but instead centre around jugglers, acrobats, clowns and trapeze artists.
