Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Cinema has unveiled a £6,000 upgrade to its box office area.
The lobby to the popular cinema in Victoria Street has been given a modern look with new decor, flooring and an upgraded range of refreshments.
Owners Pat and Beryl Scott have run the three-screen cinema for 12 years and are working on a number of other upgrades.
Pat told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are grateful to local people for all their support – we also plan to refurbish Screen 1 over the coming year.”
John Edwards from Burnham-On-Sea Chamber of Trade, pictured with the cinema team, said: “It’s great to see this investment in what is a superb moden facility – we wish the Ritz Cinema continuing success.”
