Motorists travelling through Highbridge faced more delays this week as workmen dug up Church Street… only weeks after it was resurfaced.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reported last month how kerbs along Church Street were raised in an attempt to stop the problem of pavement parking.
But on Thursday (March 8th), local residents were amazed to see workmen return again to the same spot and, as pictured here, dig up the street.
It led to further delays for long-suffering motorists who have faced delays at the northern end of Church Street for the last 10 weeks due to roadworks outside the forthcoming Asda supermarket.
