Police issue appeal for witnesses following Highbridge burglary

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after computer equipment worth hundreds of pounds was stolen in a burglary in Highbridge this week.

The thieves struck at a premises in Church Street during lunchtime on Tuesday (August 13th).

A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The incident occurred shortly before midday at a business in Church Street.”

“A bag containing a silver iPad and a silver Apple MacBook Pro was stolen during the burglary.”

“The bag, a grey shoulder bag with the word ‘Mercedes’ written on it, was stolen from an office.”

He added: “Anyone who saw someone leaving with the bag or has other information which could help us should contact PC Lee Kilfoyle by calling the non-emergency police number 101.”

Officers can also be contacted anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
