Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s Hands of Change community group is holding a ‘chrumble’ – a Christmas jumble sale – this Saturday (18th November).
The fundraiser will be held from 11am till 3pm at Hope Baptist church when all will be welcome.
“Visitors will be encouraged to fill two bags of jumble for 50p, or buy toys and various baby items as priced at very cheap prices,” says one of the organisers.
The Hands Of change Highbridge Open Community group has also just started at Hope Baptist and runs every Wednesday from 9.30am-11.30am. All are welcome – with food and clothes to take away.
“A toddler group runs in the back room too at the same time,” adds a spokesman. “It’s a great way to meet new people or pick up items if people are struggling financially.”
