Christmas tree recycling service in Burnham raises charity cash

-

A Christmas tree recycling service in Burnham-On-Sea has raised hundreds of pounds for Cerebral Palsy sufferers.

Keith Mitchell and Victor Mitchell, pictured, have collected dozens of Christmas trees across the Burnham area over the weekend in aid of SCOPE.

Keith told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We raised £140 from the tree recycling and had a great response and would like to thank all who used the service.”

“When the money from our Christmas lights display in Winchester Road is included, we think this Christmas we will have raised around £250.”

“We will be running the scheme again next year, and will widen the catchment area. Thanks again to all who donated this year.”
