Scores of fundraising events will be held across the Burnham-On-Sea area on Friday (November 17th) as the BBC’s annual Children In Need event gets underway.
The Holiday Resort Unity at Brean Sands will be throwing a big party from 7pm, where popular UK part-band Mancini & The Hitmen will take to the stage to perform a rollercoaster of hits.
“There will be a tombola and plenty of fun and games. The event will take place in RJs, our family entertainment venue, and entry will be completely free, with any donations going to Children In Need,” said Sam Andrews, a spokeswoman for the event.
Meanwhile, Fit4All on Love lane will be holding a sponsored sit-down in a bath of custard! And several pubs in Burnham and Highbridge will be marking the day with fun-packed events.
