One of the organisers of Burnham-On-Sea’s successful bi-annual food festival has been chosen as a finalist in the home cook category of the South West Chef Of The Year awards.
Beverley Milner Simonds is one of the final four and could be in with a chance of taking home the crown, with the final set to take place in October.
Entrants to this category were asked to submit a main course and a dessert incorporating compulsory ingredients which were chosen by the judges.
These were pork tenderloin or sea trout for main and apples, pears, quinces, autumn berries and vanilla paste for dessert.
