A special concert will be held later this month to raise funds for a new charity that is being formed in memory of a Burnham-On-Sea teenager.
Popular 18 year-old Charley Marks passed away in September, as reported here.
The Ritz Social Club in Burnham’s Victoria Street is holding the charity gig on Friday October 31st from 7.30pm to raise funds for the newly-formed charity, ‘In Charley’s Memory’, a new mental health charity.
Local group Daft Folk and friends will be playing at the event. Entry will cost £2 per person on the door and donations will be welcome.
Scores of tributes for the former King Alfred School student were posted online by his friends and family and hundreds of local youngsters gathered in the Manor Gardens to take part in candlelit vigils after Charley’s sudden death.
