Over £250 was raised for Burnham-On-Sea Chamber of Trade events later in the year at a quiz night on Friday (May 13th).
Dozens of staff from shops and businesses in the town centre attended the fundraiser, held at the Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street.
The teams competed for the title of ‘Burnham’s Brainiest Business’ and the winners were ‘Beauty and the Feast’, comprising of staff from Enhance Hair & Beauty and Burnham’s Food & Drink Festival, pictured above.
The proceeds from the event will help fund the Chamber of Trade’s Christmas lights and switch-on in November.

Before the evening got underway, the Chamber’s treasurer Deryk Monaghan presented cheques to the young winners of Burnham’s recent Easter shop window competition.
