Police release CCTV footage after Highbridge public order incident

Burnham-On-Sea police have this week released CCTV footage of a man they want to interview in connection with an alleged public order offence in Highbridge in June.

The man is described as white, in his 50s with a bald head, 5’6″ in height and of stocky build.

He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a black jacket and jeans.

It follows an public order incident at 6.15pm on 21st June 2009 at a convenience store in Market Street, which was captured on the store’s video cameras.

A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “He entered a shop in Highbridge and was drunk and abusive towards the staff.”

“He became aggressive and raised his fists towards a female member of staff and threatened her.”

“He left the store, but the direction of travel was unknown.”
