A BBC children’s TV series which features scenes filmed on Berrow Beach is to begin airing this week.
Last October, Burnham-On-Sea.com reported here how ‘The Sparticle Mystery’ had been filmed on the sands.
The series will be broadcast from Monday 14th February at 6.15pm on kids channel CBBC and will run for two weeks. The episode featuring the beach will probably be shown the following week.
The programme follows a group of children surviving alone in the world after all the adults have disappeared due to a scientific experiment going wrong.
As pictured, the beach and dunes were closed to the public to allow TV crews to film the scenes.
