Ten new jobs are to be created at a Highbridge sheet metal manufacturing firm after the district council this week gave it approval to expand its premises.
Cases Limited in Bennett Close on the Isleport Business Park has been granted permission by Sedgemoor District Council to build an extension to its current factory (pictured) to create additional manufacturing space.
The thriving firm, which employs 38 people, welcomed the decision and told Burnham-On-Sea.com that it hopes to generate several new jobs.
“The additional space means we’ll be looking to expand our operations and taking on additional welders and paint finishers,” said spokesman Ian Burns. “We’re delighted that the application has been given approval.”
Cases Limited was established in 1981 and is one of the region’s leading sheet metal manufacturers.
