Berrow parish councillor honoured for her service to the community

A Berrow parish councillor has been awarded Somerset County Council’s Chairman’s Award for Service to the Community in recognition of her work in the village stretching over four decades.

Carol Dyer was nominated by Berrow Parish Council for her fundraising work and community service.

“This award is an opportunity to publicly thank Carol for her 40 years of hard work and dedication as a very active volunteer to a wide range of activities for the benefit of our Village and wider community,” Parish Council Chairman Barry Kew told Burnham-On-Sea.com

“As a volunteer for Berrow Football Clubs, Community Association and as a Parish Councillor, Carol is committed to fundraising and community service.”
