Several roads in Burnham-On-Sea will be closed during the town’s carnival today, with diversions in place.
Motorists are asked to allow extra time to get to the carnival. Parking will be available for visitors in Burnham’s Pier Street and in Oxford Street.
The road closures that are in place in Burnham today are as follows…
Frank Foley Parkway (from the junction with Pepperall Rd to Ben Travers Way near Tesco):
– From 21:00 on Saturday 1st November 2014 until 01:00 on Tuesday 4th November 2014
Love Lane (from junction from Queen’s Drive to junction with Stoddens Lane):
– From 21:00 on Saturday 1st November 2014 until 01:00 on Tuesday 4th November 2014
Ben Travers Way (from Tesco to Frank Foley Parkway):
– From 16:00 on Monday 3rd November 20134until 01:00 on Tuesday 4th November 2014
Queens Drive (B3140) (from junction with Stoddens Lane to junction with Love Lane):
– From 18:15 on Monday 3rd November 2014 until 01:00 on Tuesday 4th November 2014
Burnham Road (from Pepperall Road junction):
– From 19:30 on Monday 3rd November 2014 until 01:00 on Tuesday 4th November 2014
