Search for Burnham-On-Sea’s 2006 Carnival Queen begins

-

The search has begun for a carnival queen and princesses to lead this year’s Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Carnival.

The annual competition to find a queen and two princesses is being held on Friday, October 13th at the Farmer’s Tavern in Brean Leisure Park.

As well as leading the carnival parade – which this year is on Monday November 6th – the queen will also present the winning floats with their prizes. Entrants for carnival princess must be aged between 7 and 12 and live within six miles of Burnham or Highbridge, while the queen must be 15 older.

Entry forms are available for princess and queen on Burnham-On-Sea.com or by calling the chairman of Burnham Round Table, Steve Bird, on 0796 729 2614.
