Organisers of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s annual carnival have started planning for this autumn’s 72nd annual parade during the group’s AGM this week.
This year’s 2018 Burnham-On-Sea Carnival will be held on Guy Fawkes Day, Monday November 5th.
Organisers from Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea Carnival Ltd met this week at The Coopers Arms in Market Street, Highbridge for their AGM, which was attended by members of the committee and supporters, pictured here.
The team say more helpers are needed. “We are looking for dedicated and passionate people to join our team – no experience is necessary,” said a spokesperson.
Key positions elected during the AGM were Phil New as Carnival Chairman, Paul Archer as Vice Chairman, Malcolm Borland as President, Matt Scott as Chief Marshall, Jonathan Walter as Treasurer.
