Highbridge and Burnham Carnival Association has elected its team of organisers who will be overseeing this year’s parade.
Over 20 people attended the association’s AGM on Wednesday night (April 9th) when a busy year of fundraising and activities leading up to the carnival was reviewed.
Key positions elected during the evening were Phil New as Carnival Chairman, Paul Archer as Vice Chairman, Malcolm Borland as President, Linda Bullimore as Secretary, Jonathan Walter as Treasurer, Sam Capel as Marshalls Convener and Anneli New as Collection Liason Convenor.
Phil said: “It was a well-attended meeting and we have a great committee in place this year to help organise another fantastic carnival.”
The Highbridge and Burnham carnival will be held on Monday November 3rd.
