Elderly care home in Burnham-On-Sea could be turned into 11 flats

-

An elderly residents home in Burnham-On-Sea could soon be converted into a development of 11 flats if proposals get the go-ahead.

The owner of Newton Lodge Residential Home at 139 Berrow Road in Burnham is seeking full planning permission for the scheme.

It covers the “change of use, conversion and extension of an elderly persons residence to 11 self contained flats and the formation of parking.”

Sedgemoor District Council is inviting feedback on the plans – which have the reference number 11/15/00031. Consultation will continue until July 21st.
