Sponsored truck wash raises funds at Burnham Coastguard station
Washing trucks is an unusual way to spend your weekend, but these youngsters from East Huntspill Pre-school were more than happy to do it to help raise money.
More than 20 children braved wet weather to gather at Burnham Coastguard station on Saturday (April 23), armed with buckets and sponges to clean the group’s rescue truck.
“They had a great day and it was a huge success,” said organiser Nigel Smith from the Burnham Coastguard group.
“The three and four year olds are now busy collecting their sponsor money and all funds collected will go to the pre-school.”
