Burnham-On-Sea police seized two cars after they were spotted being driven in an anti-social manner in the town over the last week.
A Peugeot 206 was pulled over in Cassis Close at 7.20pm on Friday evening (October 9th) when police were alerted to the vehicle being driven at high speed in the car park next to the BAY Centre.
A silver Citroen was also seized on Burnham seafront on Monday evening.
Sgt Ian Kennett, who led the operation, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The cars were taken away as part of our continuing crackdown against anti-social driving and behaviour in Burnham and Highbridge.”
One vehicle was found to have no tax and no insurance.
It comes just a week after Burnham-On-Sea.com was first to report how police plan to introduce dispersal orders in the town to target nuisance drivers. Police also seized a mini bike being by a youngster last week.
