A day of heavy rainfall caused difficult driving conditions in the Burnham-On-Sea area on Saturday afternoon (October 3rd) as this motorist found.
A Renault Clio got stuck in water in West Huntspill’s Church Road as the wet weather softened the grass road verge.
Police attended the scene and a recovery service was called to pull the stricken vehicle free. Further wet weather is forecast for the area.
