Crews from Burnham were called to the vehicle at 11.45pm in Wyke Road, Lympsham.
“Two fire appliances from Burnham-On-Sea were mobilised following a call from the ambulance requesting our attendance to a one vehicle RTC, were a car had left the carriageway and come to rest in a ditch, trapping a passenger,” said a spokesman.
“Shortly after arriving and assessing the scene crews confirmed this to be the case and set to work, along paramedics, stabilising the vehicle before extricating the female passenger, and making both the vehicle and scene safe.”
