These were the scenes when Burnham-On-Sea fire crews tackled a car blaze at the M5 Sedgemoor Services today (Saturday, April 28th).
Crews were called just after 10.45am to the M5 northbound services between junction 22 for Burnham-On-Sea and junction 21 for Weston.
“Once in attendance we confirmed that the vehicle was well alight and got to work using two breathing apparatus and one hose real jet,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Once extinguished, the vehicle was made safe and this incident was handed over to the owner of the vehicle.”
“The engine compartment of the vehicle was 60% damaged by the fire and the cause is believed to be accidental.”
