Burnham-On-Sea firefighters tackled a car blaze in Highbridge on Saturday evening (July 16th).
A fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea was called to Bennett Road in Highbridge just before 8.45pm.
“The service received a call reporting a vehicle on fire. One appliance from Burnham-On-Sea was mobilised,” said a spokesman.
“Crews used two breathing apparatus and a compressed air foam jet to extinguish the fire.”
The vehicle was badly damaged in the incident, which was understood to have been accidental.
