Two Burnham-On-Sea fire engines were called to tackle a car fire in Highbridge on Saturday night (September 12th).
The fire crews were called out at 10.03pm to reports of a car fire near to a property in Burnham Road.
“On arrival, the crews confirmed the car was well alight, but clear of the property,” said a spokesman.
“Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which was caused by an electrical fault.”
“The engine compartment was damaged by heat and fire, and the interior damaged by smoke.”
