The latest in a series of weekly charity car boot sales will be held today (Friday, March 26th) at a garden centre near Burnham-On-Sea.
Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service, which transports medical supplies to hospitals in Somerset, is organising the events every Friday from 10am until 3pm at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll.
Allan Roberts, one of the charity’s volunteers who is arranging the events, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had such a good response from customers at Sanders Garden World when we hosted car boot sales last year that we have decided to hold them again this year.”
“They will take place every Friday, weather dependent, until November. Entry to the public is free but we hope those who attend will make donations to the charity.”
Allan added: “For people wishing to sell their goods it will cost £5 per car or £7 per van. The event is not for market stallholders or for anyone who wishes to sell weapons, plants or fake or imitation items.”
